Watch Apple's Keynote From The Comfort Of Your Bed

by Kelly Tunney

The weeks leading up to Apple's Keynote events are always filled with anticipation for what new products and technology the team will introduce. In the last nine years alone, Apple has given us the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple Music, and so many more products that are now essential parts of many of our lives. While the majority of us won't be there in person to attend the San Francisco keynote address on Wednesday, you can still stream the Apple keynote event live. Apple will be streaming the 2016 keynote address live on its website at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET).

You'll need to use specific systems to view the keynote. Per Apple, the live stream will use Apple's own HTTP Live Streaming technology that requires a iPad or iPod touch with iOS 7.0 or later, a Mac with OS X v10.8.5 or later, or a PC with Microsoft Edge on Windows 10. If you're using an Apple product to view the stream, you must be using the Safari browser. You can also watch on Apple TV.

This is the second keynote address at the Bill Graham Civic Center in San Francisco, the first being in 2015. Before that, they were mostly held at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino and Moscone West in San Francisco, noted CNN Money.

Notoriously tight-lipped before announcements, Apple didn't offer any hints about what to expect on Wednesday's keynote. This year's invitation was also pretty mysterious. It simply said "See you on the 7th" with no indication of what may or may not be unveiled at the event. In 2015, Apple had a little fun with us when they wrote in the press invitation, "Hey Siri, give us a hint."

When iPhone users asked Siri on their phones, she responded with several different vague answers that didn't confirm anything. The best pre-programmed response said, "I can neither confirm or deny that I am not authorized either to confirm or deny that I cannot disclose anything that you would then have to confirm. In any case, I would deny it. Got it?" Nice touch, Apple.

Nearly every outlet was offering some form of speculation as to what Apple will reveal at the event, but it looks like we're just going to have to watch and see to know for sure what new products customers will be lining up to purchase this year.
