It Appears T. Swift & T. Hiddles Are No More

Well, after making headline after headline after headline, it appears Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift have broken up. According to Us Weekly, Swift was the one to initiate the split. A source told the outlet, T. Swift didn't want to be as public as Hiddleston with their romance, so they parted ways after only three months. "She was the one to put the brakes on the relationship," the source claimed. "Tom wanted the relationship to be more public than she was comfortable with. Taylor knew the backlash that comes with public displays of affection, but Tom didn't listen to her concerns when she brought them up." Reportedly, T. Hiddles is also "embarrassed that the relationship fizzled out." Bustle reached out to Hiddleston's rep for comment, who said they do not comment on his private life. We have also reached out to Swift's rep for comment, but have yet to receive a response.

After they first sparked romance rumors in June, the two got super serious, super fast. However, that apparently didn't turn out well for either them, because as a "Hiddleston insider" told Us Weekly, "It was an intense start. No one can keep that kind of momentum going." The source also added, "They get along great and will remain friends, but they just don't see it working romantically right now."

Their relationship obviously caught the eyes of many, especially since Swift started dating Hiddleston only two weeks after breaking up with Calvin Harris. They even made headlines for the different conspiracy theories surrounding their relationship. Some were convinced they were together for an upcoming Swift music video or purely for publicity. However, in July, Hiddleston denied the latter to The Hollywood Reporter and said, "Well, um. How best to put this? That notion is — look, the truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we're very happy. Thanks for asking. That's the truth. It's not a publicity stunt." He even commented on their coupling to MTV News in July and assured everyone. "We are together and we’re very happy."

Well, if Us Weekly is to be believed, it doesn't seem like they are "together" or "very happy" anymore. So, if you really were a fan of Hiddleswift, break out the tissues and wait for Swift to write her next song, which will probably end up being about the Emmy-nominated actor.
