Dress Like The Real Housewives This Halloween

It's never too early to start planning the perfect Halloween costume. If you're all about a fun group idea, then may I suggest a Real Housewives group Halloween costume? Trust me when I say this is the way to go if you have a group of at least four or five friends, who not only want to take home "Best Costume of the Night," but are also looking for a way to honor their favorite Bravo reality franchise. The idea may sound boring, because you're probably like, "All I have to do is throw on a dress and some heels." Au contraire, that is not all you have to do and there is a way for you to spice it up. Also, if you're worried no one will be able to tell which Housewife you are, I have a solution for exactly that.

First, rather than dressing up as the ladies from one particular Housewives series, why not have each member of your group dress up as a different Housewife from a different city? It's up to you and your friends to argue over who gets to be who out of the following Housewives listed below, but maybe you should just pull names out of a hat to avoid drama. Who am I kidding, it wouldn't be a Real Housewives costume without a little drama.

I've mapped out exactly what you'll need for each Housewife. The costumes are simple, yet fun, and will make you a standout, for sure. Oh, and as a tip, I suggest memorizing each of the following Housewives' taglines. That way, you can recite them on the spot and really get into character. With that, let's check out the costumes.

RHOC's Tamra Judge

When is Real Housewives of Orange County's Tamra Judge not wearing her CUT Fitness gear? Seeing as it is her business, it makes sense that she wears it all the time. So, if you want to be Tamra this year for Halloween, all you have to do is throw on some workout gear and head to a party. Really, you could wear any type of workout gear you may have lying around the house. Why purchase something you don't need? A cheap Halloween costume is the way to go. But, if you prefer to buy new workout gear, here are a few options.

Tip: If you want to stay true to CUT Fitness, you might want to lean towards the logo's colors, which include red, white, black, or gray.

This Champion Women's Plus Size Performance Long Tank ($8.48-$16.99) from Target looks both comfy and exactly like something Tamra would workout in.

Also from Target, this pair of Champion Women's Plus Size Performance Capris complete the ensemble.

Here is another option from Target. This Champion Women's Run Singlet ranges in price from $9-$17.

To ensure you stand out and for others to recognize you as Tamra, you could also print the CUT Fitness logo and tape it onto the front of your shirt. You could try to iron it on or have a screen printing business do it for you, but the less work, the better, right?

And here is Tamra's Season 11 tagline: "My faith is strong, and my ass isn't bad either."

RHOBH's Lisa Vanderpump

If you're all about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' LVP, then you should probably dress up as her for Halloween. To channel Queen Lisa, all you'd really have to do is throw on something pink, possibly use a British accent, and go around telling people what they're doing wrong and right, like she does at SUR. Or, you could purchase the items below to really transform yourself into LVP.

Lisa rarely goes anywhere without her beloved dog Giggy. Obviously, you need to buy a stuffed animal, like this stuffed dog from Walmart. It doesn't look exactly like Giggy, but it makes the perfect LVP accessory.

Then, you must invest in a lovely pink dress, because that's what Lisa would want you to do. This Forever 21 Plus Size Tank Dress only cost $15 and is seriously cute. Plus, it looks like something you could be comfortable all night long, which is important when you attend any party.

There is also this one-shoulder dress from H&M that screams Lisa Vanderpump. It costs $30, so a bit more than you may want to spend, but if you truly want to embody LVP, buy it now.

For you to memorize, here is Lisa's Season 6 tagline: "I’m passionate about dogs, just not crazy about b*tches."

RHONJ's Teresa Giudice

The key to transforming into Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice is you must write your own book. OK, just kidding, but you could just buy her latest book. On Amazon, Turning the Tables: From Housemate to Inmate and Back, you can get the hardback for $15.60 or the paperback for $8.22. Why would you need to buy her book in the first place? Because then you could carry it around (like Teresa holds it above) and no on will wonder who you are.

To top it off, you probably want to buy a dress similar to the white one Teresa is wearing on her book cover. This Forever 21 Plus Size Lace Sheath Dress for $28 has a lot of texture just like Teresa's.

Or, there is one also from Forever 21. The white Cutout Skater Dress only costs $16 and has similar corset ties up the side as Teresa's.

A white dress and Teresa's book? How simple is that? Oh, and don't forget her Season 7 tagline: "I used to flip tables. Now, I'm turning them."

RHONY's LuAnn de Lessps

Only true Real Housewives of New York City fans will remember that time LuAnn de Lesseps wore her own jumpsuit creation from her collection to Ramona Singer's holiday party. Yeah, it was... interesting. The moment became even more memorable when LuAnn asked Ramona if she liked it and Ramona replied, "I'm not sure." Whether you remember it or not, the jumpsuit is a must if you want to dress up as The Countess. Trust met, fans of Real Housewives will see you in it and know exactly who you are.

You can get Lu's jumpsuit from her line, The Countess Collection, on Evine. The jumpsuit is called a Knit 3/4 Sleeved Tapered Leg Lace Jumpsuit and costs $38 on clearance. (When it's not on clearance, it is $63.50.) It is available in sizes small through 3X and comes in both navy and burgundy, but you better get burgundy to be exactly like LuAnn.

This really is the best jumpsuit ever, so let's take a moment to thank The Countess for her creation. And with that, I'll leave you with her Season 8 tagline: "If you can’t be cool, you can’t be with the Countess."

RHOD's Brandi Redmond

Despite there only being one season (so far) of Real Housewives of Dallas, Brandi Redmond definitely made a name for herself as a first-time Housewife. Actually, it was all her talk about poop (for real) that made her so memorable. Oh, and that time she created her own poop hat to wear to a charity event that angered her co-star LeeAnne Locken. So, you can't have a group Real Housewives Halloween costume without Brandi and her poop hat.

First, you're going to need a hat. There is this one from Kohl's. The Straw Floppy Hat is $15.20 on clearance and originally $38.00. It's a bit smaller than Brandi's, but if you don't want to go too over-the-top, this seems like a good choice. Also, the brim of the hat looks sturdy enough to hold whatever materials you choose to decorate it with.

There is also this option from Target. This Women's Floppy Straw Hat only costs $15 and appears to have a bigger brim for more decorations, which is key, because you're going to need quite a few to make yourself a true Brandi Redmond poop hat.

As for the materials, you can add whatever you want to the hat. I'd say a hot glue gun is probably your best option to attach the decorations, including this burlap from Michael's ($3) and floral moss from the Dollar Tree ($1). Brandi seems to have a lot of burlap and even some grass/moss tossed on that hat, so these two materials are a must. Most importantly, you must add fake poop for it to be a "poop hat." So, you can go to any gag store to pick up some, but if you're hard a time finding any, GagGifts.com has Fake Dog Poo for $3.

To complete the Brandi costume, you'll need a dress. Forever 21's Plus Size Marled Tank Dress, ($15) would go great with your poop hat. Since it's a neutral color, it won't take away from your hat, which is the most important accessory.

The same can be said for this Marled Knit Bodycon Dress ($20) from Forever 21:

Who knew Brandi's hat would be such a big hit? If you really want to channel Brandi, purchase some extra fake poop to throw on the floor or seats at the party you attend. Oh, and don't forget her Season 1 tagline: "I was a Cowboys cheerleader, but in Dallas, I'm never on the sidelines."

This is one seriously fantastic group Halloween costume idea. You're welcome.
