How Kiehl's Is Supporting Ovarian Cancer Research

Kiehl's is having quite a big month. Not only is it the brand's semi-annual Healthy Skin Event, but they're also taking time this month to give back in a majorly cool way. This September, Kiehl's is hosting its LifeRide for OCRFA in honor of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. It is a celebrity motorcycle ride that's set to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance, an organization dedicated to expanding research and advocacy efforts to those battling the disease. While it's totally bomb that the brand is having an event to benefit your skin, it's much more amazing that they're using their brand's power to benefit those who need it most.

The event is set to take place Sept. 21- Sept. 22. Celebrities such as Gilmore Girls' Scott Patterson, Switched At Birth's Gilles Marini, Kiehl's president Chris Salgardo, and others are all set to bike to six separate Kiehl's store locations in order to raise awareness and funds to support the OCRFA.

For those shopping in the six lucky stores, they'll be able to participate and interact with the riders as well as receive complimentary facials and refreshments. On top of that, guests can win gift cards with a value up to $100. What's not to love about a killer benefit and a free facial?

The event is set to end in Santa Monica, California, where Kiehl's will be donating $25,000 to OCRFA. If you live in the LA area, you are totally in luck. Sherman Oaks, Santa Anita, and Victoria Gardens are all set to host the event on Sept. 21 while Del Amo, Robertson Boulevard, and the Santa Monica locations of Kiehl's stores will host and close out the event on Sept. 22.

If you're in LA and want to meet celebrities (like Gilmore Girls' Luke!) and support a great cause, the Kiehl's LifeRide for OCRFA is the perfect opportunity.
