How To Stream 'UnREAL' & Catch Up Before The Emmys

Lifetime's UnREAL was nominated for two Emmys this year. The dark comedy is nominated for Outstanding Writing, and Constance Simmer is nominated for Supporting Actress. If you haven't gotten sucked in to the series, which takes a satirical look at reality dating shows, you definitely should. However, UnREAL is not streaming on Netflix, the fastest way that most modern television audiences would catch up on something they missed.

UnREAL focuses on a fictional Bachelor-like show called Everlasting and the producers that make the "magic" happen on camera through nothing less than sheer manipulation and ruthlessness. The lines between real and unreal blur constantly, whether you're a contestant or a crew member. It's one of the sharpest, most feminist shows out there, and I'm thrilled that the Emmys are giving UnREAL the recognition it deserves.

Even though the show is not on Netflix at the moment, you can, however, stream Season 1 on Hulu+ right now. That's how I first got caught up, actually, and I honestly can't remember the last time I got so lost in a marathon. UnREAL is funny, addictive, and twisted in all the right ways. I guarantee that you'll be completely obsessed with Rachel and Quinn in no time. As for Season 2, until it joins its predecessor on Hulu you can catch that on Lifetime's website with your cable information or buy the episodes on iTunes, Amazon, or Google Play.

Luckily for fans, Lifetime has renewed UnREAL for Season 3. With the Emmys coming up, and all the different ways to stream the series, the fan base is only going to get bigger and bigger. Who knows, maybe it'll be on Netflix too.
