Kat Von D Beauty updated its best-selling Lock-It Foundation, upgrading the packaging graphics and adding a whopping 13 new hues to the lineup. That's a pretty massive revamp, one that should be met with joy. Expanding the Lock-It shade selection certainly makes the product more inclusive, as it caters to an even wider variety of skintones and opens to product up to even more makeupistas that are constantly ISO the perfect foundation shade. The brand teased the additional shades back in the spring and I am happy to report that the new Kat Von D Lock-It Foundations have arrived. In addition to being shoppable via the KVDB site, you can scoop up the new shades of Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation via the Sephora site.

If you prefer to see the new shades and rebooted bottle IRL, you will have to wait until Oct. 7, since that's when the new Lock-Its arrive in physical Sephora stores. The formula has remained in tact, so... NOT. TO. WORRY. The pump's aesthetics have been refreshed and there are more shades to choose from.

New look, same product. The new graphics maintain the usual KVD x goth x rock aesthetic. According to the description on the KVDB site, the bottle is aces since it "features an innovative airless chamber design that prevents contamination and maintains Lock-It's rich consistency. That means you get a fresh, precisely measured dose with every pump!" Woo hoo! Thanks to the bottle, the product remains hygienic, there is little, if any, mess, and minimal wasted product!
