Netflix's 'Easy' Boasts An Impressive Cast

by Caroline Gerdes

The guy who brought you Drinking Buddies, Happy Christmas, and Digging for Fire, Joe Swanberg, is now taking his character-heavy pieces to a streaming service. His eight-episode Netflix series, Easy , studying sex and relationships, is now available to stream. So, who is starring in this highly anticipated Netflix original series? Let’s just say the cast of Easy has enough players to make up an athletic team. And, considering the care Swanberg takes with his characters, he's one of the few who could make a project with so many different people work so well.

According to Deadline, Easy chronicles the lives of diverse Chicago characters as they explore love, sex, and technology in a modern setting. Swanberg’s signature filmmaking style of low budget masterpieces and improvisation permeates into the Netflix show. Deadline reported that the series is a “comedy-drama” with an anthology format, as each episode features stand alone characters from different backgrounds and areas of Chicago. So, with this anthology style and a trailer featuring several familiar faces, viewers may be wondering what to expect — and who to expect — on Easy.

Here’s a cast roundup of some of the many famous faces viewers will find on Easy when you explore their individual stories.
