The Rihanna Puma Creeper Restock May Be A One-Off

Thursday, Sept. 29 is an important day for sneaker pimps, athleisure lovers, and footwear fetishists. The original Rihanna Puma Creepers will be restocked in four "classic" colors — black with a tan sole, black and white with a black sole, white with a tan sole, and tan with a tan sole — on that date. The classic Rihanna Puma Creepers will be available at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT via the Puma site, at Puma stores, and through other official retailers, such as Six: 02 and Madison. It's an encore that fans of this flatform sneaker have been eagerly anticipating. It's also an undeniable #ByeMoney moment.

The brand and singer have dropped subsequent colorways in the past year, such as the all-black, the all-white patent, the green-with-maroon-stripe, and the burnt orange camo. Usually, Rihanna Puma Creeper drops are one-offs. That is, they go on sale, amid tons of mania, hype, and fanfare, and quickly sell out. They aren't restocked, leaving a trail of frustrated customers who sometimes resort to purchasing the kicks for exorbitant prices via third party sites.

The Sept. 29 reprise begs the question. Upon selling out, will Puma restock the original Puma Creepers any further? Or is this another "one and done" drop?

Bustle reached out to Puma reps to inquire about potential restocks.

UPDATE: Bustle heard back from Puma PR reps via email about restocks. They wrote, "We do not have any news about restocking as of right now." They also confirmed the shoes are $140 USD.

These are the Creepers that started it all! These colors dropped last fall and they are enjoying a reprise.

It's all about that chunky sole and snazzy silhouette.

There are four original Puma Creepers going on sale on Thursday, Sept. 29. Your best bet is to plan ahead. Figure out which color(s) you want, determine your size, create a customer account on the Puma site, hop online 15 minutes prior to the on-sale, close out all other browsers and distractions if able, and proceed to scoop up these shoes.
