The Best Bravo Show For You Based On Your Sign

by Marenah Dobin

There are so many good shows to watch on Bravo that it can become a lot to keep up with. It can be difficult to figure out which show is the one for you if you are new to Bravo or if you just want to narrow down your time to one show. How do you choose!? I'm no astrologist, but I am a self-proclaimed Bravo expert/zodiac enthusiast, so I fully support the idea of combining both those interests by using your zodiac sign to determine the Bravo show that is best suited to your personality.

This doesn't mean that you should only watch one Bravo show. As a Bravoholic, I encourage everyone to watch all of them, but I also realize that most people have more of a life than I do, so they need to downsize their TV viewing from time to time. The one thing better than making that call yourself is to rely on the zodiac signs. Otherwise, choosing one show on such an amazing network would be an extremely difficult decision to make.

Once again, I want to emphasize that I am not an actual astrologist, so my matches are based on a combination of attributes for the signs as identified on Astrology-zodiac-signs.com and my Bravo TV obsession.

If You're An Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)...

You should watch Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce. The typical Aquarius enjoys "fun with friends and intellectual conversation." The banter among the clique in this scripted series will definitely stimulate your interests. Aquarii are characterized by "the power of quick and easy transformation," which could mean that you would be able to easily relate to the characters who are trying to figure out their post-divorce lives. If you are an Aquarius, you probably value being "original" and "independent," which is what the core characters strive for on this show. Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce focuses on a group who emphasize "openness, communication, imagination and willingness to risk," which are the main qualities that correspond with being an Aquarius .

If You're A Pisces (February 19 - March 20)...

You would love tuning into Watch What Happens Live every night. The talk show hosted by Andy Cohen is the perfect Bravo program to suit the needs of Pisces since people in this sign are usually "very friendly, so they often find themselves in the company of very different people." That is exactly what you'll get from watching WWHL since there are at least two guests and a different bartender every night. Not only is there variety from one episode to the next, but even within one show the guest pairings are often people that you would never expect to be in the same room together. Everyone from Bravo TV stars to newscasters to politicians to Oscar-winning actors stop by the clubhouse. Those born under the Pisces sign "are expressive and they will not hesitate to express their feelings to the people around them," which is just so "Watch What Happens Live" since the interviews are always very outrageous and no topic is ever off limits.

If You're An Aries (March 21 - April 19)...

Real Housewives of Orange County is the show that you should watch. Since Aries is the first sign in the zodiac, it makes perfect sense for you to watch the very first show in the Real Housewives franchise. Typically, the Aries is all about "the search for answers to personal or metaphyiscal questions," which fits in perfectly with the Orange County ladies who are always on a quest for answers when it comes to solving problems or finding the truth in gossip. These women have gone to psychics, called hospitals where they weren't patients, and talked to their enemies relatives just to get the tea, so this is a show that an Aries would appreciate. The OC ladies are not afraid to have fun and they will not hold back when it comes to spending money when they want to enjoy themselves. A lot of the time, the Aries "enjoys spending money on shopping and gambling," because they are all about "living for the moment," which is such an OC way to think. But rest assured, even though you Aries people love to have fun, you don't do so outside of your means, Aries "love to work," so having enough money is not going to be an issue.

If You're A Taurus (April 20 - May 20)...

You should check out Odd Mom Out. This is a show all about mothers navigating both rich people problems and universal mom issues in an elite New York City social group. Usually, the Taurus is all about family and finance. The Taurus is "the first when it comes to harvesting the fruits of his labor," which fits in with the characters on this show who all have a head for business. Not only that, but the Taurus "can be overprotective of their loved ones" and the bond of family is really what drives these characters' actions both personally and professionally. Taurus have "a good sense of humor, which makes [him or her] an excellent person to socialize" and this is why it's so fun watching the main character, Jill Weber, make funny comments about the upper society social life. Plus, the Taurus likes to be "surrounded by material pleasures, good food, and luxury," so if this isn't something that you can make happen in your real life these days, you might as well vicariously enjoy these perks on Odd Mom Out.

If You're A Gemini (May 21 - June 20)...

You need to watch Real Housewives of Atlanta. The Gemini has two distinct personalities and so do the ATL women. They are all about their professional aspirations, but they are also ready to clap back at the drop of a hat in any social situation. The Gemini is "expressive and quick-witted," which describes all of the Atlanta cast members. It can be said the Gemini is "sociable, communicative and ready for fun," and on the flip side they can also be very "serious, thoughtful, restless and even indecisive." This yin and yang within the same person epitomizes Real Housewives of Atlanta. The company of a Gemini "is never boring" and the same can be said for the RHOA cast members. There is always something crazy going down.

If You're A Cancer (June 21 - July 22)...

You would relate to the women on Real Housewives of New Jersey. That is because the Cancer is all about "home-based hobbies, helping loved ones, and a good meal with friends." This show is all about family, loyalty, and hashing everything out over some delicious Italian food, so you can definitely relate. These ladies keep their circle tight and establish who their friends and enemies are. They keep everything close to the vest until they know they are in reliable and loyal company. Usually, the Cancer is very "emotional and sensitive" and "they care about family and home" — once again, that's a New Jersey housewife to a T.

If You're A Leo (July 23 - August 22)...

You would relate well to Vanderpump Rules. Both the positive and negative attributes associated with being a Leo are emphasized in this show. The Leo has strengths of being "passionate, creative, cheerful, and humorous" while its weaknesses include being "arrogant, stubborn, self-centered, and lazy." With the least amount of shade possible, that combo of strengths and weaknesses describes the cast of Vanderpump Rules, who are working on a waiter's salary yet also get paid to be on reality TV and endorse teeth whitening products on Instagram. There are so many similarities between the typical Leo and the cast members. Leos like "taking holidays, being admired, and fun with friends" and anyone who has seen the show knows that these people are always going on trips, getting into love triangles, and partying hard. Such a perfect fit for this sign. Not only that, but Leos hate "being ignored" and "not being treated like a king or queen," which is so the essence of Vanderpump Rules, since every one of the stars is striving to be the center of attention. The Leo "loves life and expects to have a good time" which is something that all of Lisa Vanderpump's staff knows how to do very well. If you're a Leo and you're not watching Vanderpump Rules, it's probably because you're busy living it.

If You're A Virgo (August 23 - September 22)...

You would love watching any city's version of Million Dollar Listing. The main weaknesses of Virgos are that that they can be "overly critical of self and others" and that they tend to be "all work and no play." No one understands that lifestyle like the real estate agents on Million Dollar Listing. They are all striving to the be the most successful in their fields while trying to maintain some semblance of a personal life. If this sounds like you, then you should watch these shows just to make you feel better about not being the only one struggling with work/life balance. Most of the time, Virgos are very "practical, analytical, and hard-working" which describes the MDL cast members, as well. Not only that, but it is said that when a Virgo is focused on a specific task, they will "give their best to execute it perfectly," which also screams Million Dollar Listing.

If You're A Libra (September 23 - October 22)...

You would love Don't Be Tardy, which is arguably the cutest show on Bravo. Typically, people who are Libras "cannot stand to be alone" and if that's how you are then you'll love to watch Kim Zolciak and her constantly growing family. From the six kids, to the pets, to the staff members, to the friends, there are always people around to provide some entertainment. The Libra absolutely "loves spending time with friends and family," so if you are craving some family time, then you might as well tune in to watch the Biermann bunch getting into some shenanigans. Not only is the Libra focused on friends and family, but "finding a compatible partner will be a priority" and they "will do all that is necessary to please their partners," which is exactly how Kim and her husband, Kroy Biermann, are.

If You're A Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)...

You would be entertained by Shahs of Sunset, for sure. Scorpios are "passionate and assertive people" just like the Shahs cast. They are "determined" and "will research until they find out the truth," which is the mentality of this cast since they have no boundaries when it comes to finding out information about each other and exposing the truth. The cast have all been in each other's lives for many years and value loyalty more than anything, so this is a perfect fit for Scorpios who value having "longtime friends." A Scorpio "hates dishonesty and they can be very jealous and suspicious" and that's exactly the reason why so much controversy ends up boiling to the surface on this show. This cast is all about getting shadiness out in the open in the most deliciously entertaining way.

If You're A Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)...

Below Deck is the show that you would relate to the most. Sagittarius is all about "freedom, travel, and being outdoors," which really is on par with the yacht-y lifestyle. A common weakness of the Sagittarius is the tendency to "promise more than [he or she] can deliver," which is something that ends up happening all the time on this show when the crew members try to meet the outrageous requests of their guests. It is also said that the Sagittarius is "one of the biggest travelers among all the zodiac signs," so it makes sense to assume that a Sagittarius would enjoy watching the crew members travel the world while they work on chartered yachts.

If You're A Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)...

Manzo'd With Children is the show that you would relate to most. The Capricorn prioritizes "family values" above all else and Manzo'd is a show all about family. The Capricorn also values "quality craftsmanship," which made me think of Caroline Manzo making her own line of soaps in her kitchen. For a Capricorn, "there are no limits when it comes to friends and family" — a statement that also applies to the Manzo family and their close friends. Not only that, but most Capricorns "respect family traditions and love spending holidays with friends and family."

Prioritizing your television viewing based on your zodiac sign allows you to match up with a show that suits your taste and frees you from the responsibility of making a decision yourself. But at the end of the day I think that once you become a Bravoholic, it becomes a slippery slope and you'll end up watching every single episode of every single show a million times, anyway.
