This Future 'American Ninja Warrior' Is So Cool

Some kids have a swing set in their backyards, and others have a sandbox; meanwhile, this little girl has her very own American Ninja Warrior obstacle course in her backyard, built entirely by her dad, Gavin MacCall. In a video he posted on Facebook on Sept. 30, MacCall films his daughter Lylah climbing her way through the elaborate obstacle course on a timer, complete with epic, television-style commentary — so naturally, it's gone viral. Because it's awesome. (Bustle has reached out to MacCall for comment, and will update if/when we hear back.)

MacCall writes in the Facebook post that Lylah "practices every day on the playgrounds around our neighborhood," building up the strength needed to complete her home obstacle course. As seen in the video, the course is made out of wooden crates, homemade ramps, tree stumps, balance beams, a yellow net, a "teeter log" (similar to a see-saw) and even a zip line — which, if I may add, she zipped through one-handed. (Um, I don't recall being nearly as badass when I was 5 years old.) The whole time, she sports a colorful "Girls Are Superstars" T-shirt, which I seriously wish would come in my size, because it is too cute.

Although you don't see MacCall in the video, you hear his voice announcing the "Junior Ninja Warrior Denver City Finals" competition. He's as impressive of a sports commentator as his daughter is a ninja warrior, making motivational comments like, "She makes it look easy." In the background, you can hear an audio track of audience cheering. As Lylah champions through, several loyal fans — including a minion doll, a purple devil emoji, a unicorn, and several other stuffed animals — watch with wide eyes from three benches scattered around the obstacle course.

And there are likely big things in Lylah's future. She currently has a GoFundMe page set up for her by her dad, with the goal being to raise $1,000 for scaffolding to create new obstacles for her training. And although MacCall is right when he notes that junior Ninja Warrior competitions don't exist (yet!), it's exciting to think of where Lylah might go as she gets stronger. Stuntwoman and all-round badass Jessie Graff made history in September when she became the first woman ever to complete Stage 1 of the American Ninja Warrior finals course — so maybe Lylah is a future Jessie Graff in the making.

Oh, and by the way, did I mention that Lylah finished the entire obstacle course in under two minutes and 23 seconds?! Much faster than I could ever be, that's for sure.
