These Disney Inspired Wedding Dresses Are Gorg

by Katharine McEntee

Looking like a princess on your wedding day just got a whole lot easier, thanks to Alfred Angelo’s Disney Fairytale Bridal Collection. In 2015, Angelo gave us a glimpse of his love for fairytale gowns with a collection of Disney-inspired dresses that were reminiscent of famous folk tale characters like Cinderella, Elsa, Bella, and Tiana. Now, pictures of Angelo’s 2017 Disney Fairytale Collection have surfaced, and while his latest collection is not quite as literal as his first, Angelo’s new bridal wear gives a nod to the same fairytale characters in an equally magical way.

Angelo’s 2017 bridal collection includes various dresses inspired by all of your favorite Disney leading ladies. From a romantic mermaid-style number inspired by Ariel, to a gauzy cape gown that has Elsa’s name all over it, to a delicate flowing dress à la Princess Aurora, Angelo has created a collection that perfectly encapsulates the energy and vibe of your favorite Disney heroines. To make matters even better, if Angelo's bridal line is like his last, it is likely that all gowns will come in sizes 0 to 26W.

The collection is not yet available and pricing is not confirmed — hopefully this collection will be somewhat affordable like his last, which started with dresses costing $1,499.

While Angelo’s dresses won’t magically turn you into a princess, they might just make you feel like the princess you already are. Check out the perfectly royal dress looks below.

This off-the-shoulder gown and trumpet like skirt is fit for a princess. Just pair it with a crown and you are good to walk down the aisle.

2. Mulan

Although the dress doesn't quite nail the Mulan aesthetic (Mulan wasn't exactly the princess type), this streamlined lace dress paired with a glimmering headband is quite beautiful.

3. Elsa

4. Ariel

Mermaid are very in right now, which makes this dress a must. This strapless mermaid number inspired by none other than Ariel, aka the little mermaid, is fit for a modern day mermaid.

5. Aurora

Angelo's low V-neck lace bodice and flowing skirt creation is absolutely dreamy. While not in-your-face princess-y, this gown is great for Disney and non-Disney fans alike.

6. Pocahontas

Reminiscent of Pocahontas' one shoulder dress, this mixed materials bridal gown is gorgeous. Simply add some cool jewels and a veil for a traditional bridal look.

No need for a fairy godmother or a magical wand, Angelo's dresses are fit for a ball and an enchanting wedding.
