Kim Kardashian's Still Silent On Snapchat

by Caitlyn Callegari

As I'm sure you've gathered by now, Kim Kardashian is taking a well deserved reprieve from social media. The Kardashians themselves have said as much, and E! has confirmed filming of Keeping Up With The Kardashians is on hold for now, proving that this spotlight hiatus actually goes even further than social media at this point. But, what does that mean? While Kardashian will likely return to the show (it hasn't yet been canceled), will Kardashian ever return to Snapchat or any of her other more favored social media platforms?

Well, if Khloé Kardashian's words on The Ellen Show count for anything, Kardashian isn't even concerned about something so frivolous right now — mo matter how frequently she used to update fans on the platform before the robbery.

Khloé explained to Ellen DeGeneres:

"Well, I think it’s just a wake up call to make a lot of life adjustments. But this is a really serious matter for Kim, I think, that’s really personal as to when... that emotional terror you could move on from that. I think for us it’s all a wake up call for all of us, but definitely just to make sure our sister is OK ... Like I said, we’re a family we’ll do this together. I think it is important to make those adjustments, and to pull back a little bit, I think, is always smart."

That said, going by her siblings and extended family's Snapchat accounts, an eventual return seems to be a possibility. Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner were all on the app just this Thursday, as was Rob Kardashian, who admittedly was only promoting Lyft ride credits. But, you know, it's the action that counts.

What does this all mean? That I don't have any doubt Kardashian will return to Snapchat, but we can't truly know when she will. Given all the evidence, it might be quite a while. But that's OK. The reality star's safety and peace of mind is what matters most, and I think I can speak for all fans when I say we're willing to wait.
