Makeup Geek's Is Launching Four Lip Formulas

Makeup Geek might be known for their powders, but something big is coming. They've come up with a brand new product, and they're not holding anything back. According to their Instagram, Makeup Geek is launching lip products. Will they be matte, you ask? This brand isn't just focused one trending formula. Instead, they're creating them all.

It's been a big year for Makeup Geek. They've come up with new Foiled Eyeshadows and individual Duochrome Highlighters, but that was all about the powders. Branching out from their bestselling products, the company is trying their hand at lip products now too. According to CEO of Makeup Geek Marlena Stell's Instagram post, there will be four different formulas and two coming after that.

Yes, you read that right. The company is launching six different formulas right off the bat. Unfortunately, there's no telling exactly what those formulas will be. Stell did post a picture of the packaging though. From the looks of the image, I'd say that we can probably expect a gloss and a matte liquid lipstick. As far as the other formulas go, it could be anything. A satin texture is definitely a possibility as well. I don't know about you, but I'm dying to find out for sure.

Makeup Geek's Instagram also had a sneak peek of the shade Boss Lady in honor of National Boss Day. They didn't say exactly which formula it was, but the caption does say that it will be coming soon. Hopefully fans don't have too much longer to wait.

Honestly, I can't even think of six different formulas off the top of my head. None of them look metallic or duochrome, so that's off the table. Stell's arm swatch post doesn't give much away formula-wise either. Of course, it does show 27 gorgeous lip shades though.

No matter what they are, there's no doubt in my mind that each formula will be great. I can't wait to see what Makeup Geek has up their sleeve!
