Nick Viall Is Going To Be The Perfect 'Bachelor'

It's may sound like a long way off, but January is a lot closer than you think. For those of us chomping at the bit to witness Nick Viall in all of his Bachelor glory, January is basically right around the corner. We now finally — finally — have the first true blue promo for Viall's upcoming Bachelor season, and it is the definition of a tease. Mind you, a good tease. Ever since Viall got the boot during JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette, and was subsequently announced heir to the Bachelor throne, I've been rooting for his success in a major way. This is anything but Viall's first time on the Bachelor rollercoaster; something tells me he's going to make his time count.

Which leads us to this incredibly tantalizing promo. It's only 10 seconds long, but, boy, it packs a lot into those 10 seconds. You may laugh, but this promo says a lot about what we can expect in January. From the voiceover, warning you that "the next scream you hear may be your own" to Viall standing front, center, and full of swagger, one thing is clear: he is really the ideal Bachelor, from head to toe. We're in for a classic, fairy tale season with Viall at the forefront, as the trailer makes very clear.

Look at how easily and effortlessly he is holding that rose. Listen to the screams of the gaggle of women, who are all be vying to to Mrs. Viall. Did they just find out about that carnival-themed one-on-one date? It's absolutely cheesy, yes, but is it a perfect Bachelor teaser? God yes.

One thing is striking about this promo in its simplicity, and it is this: Viall is the quintessential Bachelor. Scruffy, lovable, and a little bit sensitive to his previous Bachelorette heartbreak, his journey on the show is going to be an exciting watch.

The promo might not be a clue, then, so much as it is a no-brainer when it comes to confirming Viall's impending greatness. He's going to be such a thrilling choice for the next season of The Bachelor. I can't wait to see what further clues about the season the next Bachelor promo has in store for us.
