Watch Trump Try To Kiss A Woman Without Asking

by Chris Tognotti

A recently unearthed video of Donald Trump is basically the missing half to that incendiary Access Hollywood tape ― it's a video of Trump kissing a former beauty pageant winner on stage, in front of an assembled crowd, after making crude sexual references about her and insulting her intelligence. And he says all that talk about forcibly kissing women is just, well, talk.

It is, simply put, a visual corroboration of the very claims Trump made about his behaviors towards women in that bombshell Access Hollywood tape, the one where he bragged about kissing women without their consent because he's a "star." Bustle has contacted the Trump campaign for further comment on this video, but they declined to respond.

Taken in full, this new tape is a pretty glaring display of the kind of power Trump seems to believe he's allowed to wield over beautiful women ― accurately it seems, given that there were no obvious signs of mass revulsion or disgust from the audience.

At the start of the clip, highlighted by Ryan Grim of the Huffington Post, Trump is giving the assembled crowd a little glimpse into his personal philosophy about getting even, an outlook that followers of his presidential campaign are all too familiar with. "You know, I believe in it," Trump said. "Get even with people. If they screw you, screw them back ten times as hard. I really believe that."

He then demonstrated his instinct for vengeance by bringing up Jessica Hawkins, a former Miss Universe winner who (according to Trump, at least) upset him by not showing up to introduce him when he arrived at the event. Hawkins, who Trump at one point referred to as "my Jennifer Hawkins," emerged from backstage to try to explain herself, but she was given little chance to explain before the 65-year-old businessman began demeaning her in front of everyone. "I was actually going to get up and tell you that Jennifer is a beautiful girl on the outside, but she's not very bright. But that wouldn't have been true, but I would have said it anyway," Trump said.

Trump followed this up by again complaining that she hadn't showed up to introduce him, then started repeating a juvenile sex joke. "And you know what, she came tonight. She came. Came. She came." As the audience began to laugh, recognizing that Trump was alluding to her having an orgasm, he quipped "so they have the same filthy minds in Australia," to which Hawkins replied, "As you."

Trump then acknowledged that Hawkins eventually "got her ass over here" to appear at his speech, and sent Hawkins off by trying to kiss her. As Grim noted in detailing the footage, it does appear that Trump attempted to kiss her on the mouth, but Hawkins turned and received it on the cheek, instead.

Hawkins, for the record, hasn't voiced any displeasure with what happened ― she told News.com.au that Trump has treated her respectfully. "So as much as everyone wants me to bag him, it’s not in my nature. I don’t like drama, I don’t like to get into politics publicly, so that’s why I’ve kind of, not avoided it, just haven’t openly been out there," she said.

Hawkins' personal feelings about the encounter aside, the video is striking in how clearly it demonstrates the kind of entitled, domineering attitude that Trump has, and that his boastful conversations about sexual assault don't just stop at talk.
