Lifetime's 'Who Killed JonBenet?' Is A Must-Watch

True crime has experienced a huge surge in popularity since Making A Murderer first swept the internet last December, but one case in particular has been monopolizing the small screen as of late. Within September alone, there were three docuseries released about the unsolved murder of 6-year-old beauty queen JonBenét Ramsey. And on Saturday, Nov. 5, Lifetime will premiere the fourth and final in the recent string of JonBenét specials. As the only scripted project in the bunch, it adds something different to the mix, so those obsessed with the case will definitely want to stream Lifetime’s Who Killed JonBenét?

Though the network hasn’t announced any live stream options, there are plenty of ways to watch the movie and the following two-hour special, JonBenét’s Mother: Victim or Killer? You’ll likely be able to stream both projects on Lifetime's website or app, where most of the channel’s movies and shows are available shortly after they air. The only catch is that you need to sign with a cable provider. If you have that, you can use the website or the Lifetime app, which is available on many devices and makes much of the network's programming available. If you simply won’t be near a television, you can also check with your cable provider to see if they offer any alternatives for streaming via an app on mobile or other devices. Short of that, you can catch the re-run immediately after at 11 p.m. on Saturday night. Check your local listings with TV Guide for additional repeats.

After a full few months rehashing this nearly 20-year-old case, you might be feeling a little overloaded on the Ramseys, but Who Killed JonBenét? is still essential viewing. Here are a few more reasons why you should definitely find a way to watch the Lifetime movie.

It Brings A New Perspective

If you’re a self-proclaimed sleuth, you’ll want to look at the case from every possible angle. Thus far, each of the JonBenét projects have made good on their promises to unearth new information. Lifetime has already touted a fresh look at the competing theories surrounding the killer, so there have to be some unturned stones still left to explore.

The Cast Looks Exactly Like Their Real-Life Counterparts

The cast members of Who Killed JonBenét? look so much like their real-life counterparts that it’s downright creepy, which should make the fictional treatment that much more chilling.

It’s Classic Lifetime

If the trailer is any indication, Who Killed JonBenét? has all the makings of a classic Lifetime hit: propulsive melodrama, heavy suspense, and a thrilling true story.

It’s The Only Scripted Narrative

The previous specials have done well to piece together the case with new interviews, police tapes, and reenactments, but Who Killed JonBenét? is your only chance to get a sense of how it all panned out in full.
