Kim Deals With Anxiety On 'KUWTK'

by Nicole Pomarico

As someone who thoroughly enjoys full days spent on the couch watching Netflix, the thought of living Kim Kardashian's life makes me exhausted. Not the part where she posts beautiful selfies on Instagram, or the part where she has a closet that's probably bigger than my entire house, of course — those things I could cope with. But her insane work schedule? I don't know if I could handle the pressure... or if anyone should have to. And now, it seems like all that stress has finally pushed her to her breaking point. Kim faces her anxiety on Sunday night's episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and the way she's feeling is similar to what so many people go through.

The first person Kim confides in is her BFF, Jonathan Cheban, when they meet up for lunch. She admits she's worrying about everything lately, even things as simple as driving on the freeway, because it makes her stress out about getting into a car accident. And it's not just that Kim is feeling anxious — other people in her life have realized it, too. When her mom, Kris, came over to her house, even she admitted that Kim seems stressed out, too. Well, duh. She's a mom of two small children who also happens to be literally one of the busiest women in the world. If she didn't get a little anxious sometimes, I'd be shocked.

But fortunately, Kim decided to get some help. She worked with a therapist who asked her to put herself in a situation where she feels a lot of anxiety — like driving in the center lane on the freeway. The therapist told her she should just let her intrusive thoughts come and go and realize that's what they are, but they will pass. Easier said than done, of course, but it's good to see that Kim's getting some tools to cope.

And after her appointment, she felt way less anxious driving on the road. Good for Kim for tackling her problems head on, which is a very difficult thing to do... especially when she probably has a zillion things in her life that could give her even more anxiety. It's official: She's superwoman. Please teach me your tricks!
