Avicii Hospitalized, Cancels Show

The superstar DJ known as Avicii has been hospitalized, TMZ reports. The world famous DJ was meant to perform a show in Miami on Thursday night, but cancelled his show last minute when DJ Cassette came out to tell the already present crowd their entertainer for the evening had been hospitalized. No word on what might be wrong with the 24-year-old performer, but because of the last minute cancellation, we can assume there was a sudden incident that disabled him from taking the stage.

The gig at the SLS hotel, was meant as a warm up to the weekend's Ulta Music Festival. The event was so noted for the famed DJ that they even rebranded the place with his name in giant silver letters. Avicii, also known as Tim Bergling, is a Swedish DJ that rose to popularity in the U.S. over the past few years, ranked at number 3 on DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs poll in 2011, 2012 and 2013. He's known for this chart-topping songs "Wake Me Up," and more recently, "Hey Brother".

Fingers crossed the DJ is in no serious peril, and the weekends show will go on without further interruption.
