A Ranking Of The Most Memorable 'WWHL' Moments

by Marenah Dobin

Without a doubt, Watch What Happens Live is the best talk show ever. You never know what you're going to get, but it is always guaranteed to be an outrageous experience. I'm not sure if it's just that Andy Cohen just has a way with the guests or if the constant flow of alcohol really makes a difference, but either way the show is always producing moments so iconic that it can be tough to pick the best one. I've watched every single episode, so I have taken on the task of ranking the most memorable Watch What Happens Live moments so far.

Believe me, it was a tough job, and I'm sure that another crazy moment is going to happen before I'm even finished writing, but I have successfully narrowed it down to the best of the best so far. From the wild questions that Cohen has zero issue asking to guests slurring from copious amounts of liquor, it's always an interesting time in the clubhouse.

It truly did kill me to narrow this down. I wish I could have 50 moments tied for number one, but I found a way to make it work. These are the most memorable moments from Watch What Happens Live — up to this point.

12. When Whoopi Used Oregano To Teach Cohen How To Roll A Joint

Cohen asked Whoopi Goldberg to take part in "Teach Me Your Talent," and I'm not at all surprised that he asked her to show him how to roll a joint. I'm sure this lesson was a dream come true for him.

11. When January Jones Talked About An Ex Criticizing Her Acting

When a caller asked Jones, "Have you talked to Ashton Kutcher since he said you couldn't act and what do you think about his acting skills?" I was pretty intrigued by the situation. After clarifying that she never actually called out the ex by name in the interview she did, Jones added, "I haven't talked to him, but I'm super happy for his family... to be political and all that." And, of course, Cohen inquired one more time with, "But was it him?" and Jones gave a suspicious look and a laugh.

10. When John Legend Stopped By To Take Back His Grammy Award

John Legend wasn't even a guest on the show, but he rang the doorbell, showed up, and took his Grammy award back from the set without saying much else. It was such a random and hilarious moment.

9. When Joe Jonas Had To Choose Between His Exes

Joe Jonas has had some pretty infamous relationships (and breakups), so I was on the edge of my seat when he was asked to play "Mary, Shag, Kill" with Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid, and Demi Lovato as the choices — and he actually answered the question, which left me in shock.

8. When Khloé Kardashian Had To Choose Between Kanye West, Scott Disick, & Tyga

Cohen had Khloé Kardashian play a game of "Marry, Shag, Kill" with her sisters' men as the subjects. That would be super awkward for any normal person to answer, but my girl Khloé doesn't flinch easily, and she was entertaining with her explanation as per usual.

7. When Jennifer Lopez Shaded Her Exes

When Cohen asked J. Lo to describe her type when it comes to men, it came off like she was throwing shade when she replied, "I'm not a looks person. I don't know if you've noticed over the years. I go more for essence." Fast forward to the 1:31 mark to check out her mannerisms with her seemingly shady reply. I wonder who she was referring to with that comment...

6. When Vicki Gunvalson Said Luann de Lesseps Got Annoyed At Her Over A Guy

Vicki Gunvalson once told a story about a night she went out with Luann de Lesseps and her former flame Rey. (Yes, the same Rey who popped up during that Real Housewives of New York City episode with the party at Dorinda Medley's boyfriend's dry cleaning shop.) Gunvalson explained the incident: "Luann and I got into a fight that night because she thought I wanted him. I'm like, 'I don't want him. He's yours. Like, I just met him.' I don't know who he is, but she's like, 'Keep your hands off of him.'" I would give anything to watch a video from that night.

5. When Adriana Lima Commented On Short Guys (Including Justin Bieber)

Cohen questioned the supermodel about some romance rumors with the Biebs, and after a little small talk about the height difference she gave the most definitive statement to put the rumors to rest: "You know what I call guys who are under 6'7? Friends." Shade thrown. Case closed.

4. When Amber Rose Questioned Cohen About Hooking Up With Anderson Cooper

After Cohen asked Rose a bunch of super personal questions, she returned the favor by pressing him about his close friendship with Anderson Cooper. She just came right out and asked "Are you and Anderson Cooper f*cking?" and, of course, she continued to inquire more after Cohen explained how that they're just friends. It's very rare that Cohen is uncomfortable on his own show, but this moment did it. Plus, the whole thing was even better since Rose was wearing sunglasses (with no explanation) the entire time.

3. When Brandi Glanville Threw Wine At Jeff Lewis

Yes, we've all seen Brandi Glanville throw wine on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but her WWHL appearance with Jeff Lewis was just so crazy. She started crying without explanation, threw wine at Lewis, and completely freaked out. Lewis and Cohen were totally stunned and so was I. Later, Glanville claimed that she and Lewis were pulling a prank on Cohen, but Lewis denied that completely. It was just one of the strangest things I've ever seen and I still have no idea what to make of it.

2. When Cloris Leachman Kissed Andy Cohen & Jeff Lewis

I always thought of Cloris Leachman as a sweet lady, but over the years I've realized that she's definitely a firecracker. Still, I was totally shocked when she kissed both Lewis and Cohen. I really didn't see that one coming at all, but I was all for it.

1. When Cohen Asked Shaq About The Size Of His Penis

I pretty much lost it when Cohen said, "Your shoe size is 23. How big is your d*ck?" Nothing will ever make me laugh as much as this iconic moment. Not only was I caught off guard by Cohen asking this question, but Shaq's swift reply really got me: He took off his shoe, placed it on his thigh, and calmly replied "Let me show you." I'll never get over this. Ever.

As you can see, pretty much anything can happen during an episode of Watch What Happens Live. With the bartenders pouring out drinks, Cohen asking crazy questions, and the guests throwing shade, there is always something memorable going down in the clubhouse.
