Britney Spears' Mannequin Challenge Twist Is Great

Britney Spears always seems to know just what to do to get her fans pumped. Currently, the pop superstar is wowing audiences in her hit Las Vegas residency Britney: Piece of Me at the AXIS Auditorium at Planet Hollywood. With a Las Vegas twist, Britney Spears' attempt at the Mannequin challenge should be on a top ten list somewhere. The artist shared her version of the popular internet craze on her Instagram account and it was, as expected, a glorious display of the performance prowess of the pop singer and her equally talented crew. Spears' bouncy hit "Slumber Party" plays in the background as she and her Las Vegas team stand frozen on the stage with Spears in a lunge center-stage.

But the kicker? The camera moved almost like a dancer itself. The video moves around the stage capturing the grace and balance of the frozen dancers, and it was breathtaking — but that wasn't even the end of it. In the final shot, viewers got the big reveal, the reason why all these performers are standing around a frozen Spears mid-lunge: a sign that announced Spears as the winner of Best Resident Performer from as Vegas Review-Journal. The thought and creativity put into this Mannequin Challenge pretty much exemplifies why Spears, who's been performing her Vegas residency show since 2013 is totally deserving of this honor.

The usual Mannequin Challenge song, "Black Beatles" by Rae Sremmurd plays as Kris Jenner holds Blac Chyna's hand. Everyone's facial expressions are priceless. How long did they have to hold those expressions? That's dedication.

2. Adele

Adele and her fellow bandmates must be watching Westworld on tour, because they went for the classic old-timey Western theme complete with bar fight. As Johnny Cash's "Man In Black" plays, the team rocks cowboy hats. Oh, Adele. I've never wanted an artist to make a cameo in an HBO series more.

3. The New York Giants

The entire locker room took on frozen poses. Now, that is some great teamwork — and the lack of shirts was also much appreciated.
