Nasty Gal x Courtney Love Part 2 Is '90s & Beyond

If you are a diehard fashion follower, you are likely well aware of the hard-to-swallow fact that hip online retailer Nasty Gal filed for bankruptcy. The exact future of Nasty Gal, which was launched by ultimate #GirlBoss Sophia Amoruso, remains to be seen, since the brand is navigating a financial restructuring. The often leads to a lot of twists and turns. That said, there is a new Nasty Gal x Courtney Love capsule collection, which launched earlier this month, and it's uh-mazing. So there's good news. It's a reprise of the pair's first, '90s-inspired collab, which was pretty awesome. What's in the second Love, Courtney x Nasty Gal Collection?

Well, if you recall, the first collection from Winter 2016 was loaded with pieces inspired by Love's wardrobe of yore. The singer and fashion icon's '90s-era, babydoll x grunge queen aesthetic was the backbone of the range. Since '90s style — chokers, feminine dresses with clunky, masculine boots, and more — remains a "thing," the second Nasty Gal x Courtney Love collection offers much of the same and beyond.

The new collection also shows off Love's post-grunge style, including flowing tops, gloves, jackets, and more. It falls in line with Love's ladylike and '70s-inspo phase of the late '90s. You know, her The People vs. Larry Flynt phase. A lot of items appear to be named after music venues, too.

Clearly, Courtney Love x Nasty Gal Part 2 builds on their first collection, all the while evolving.

Given Nasty Gal's current financial woes, you shouldn't delay in shopping. The inventory on the site is plentiful. The collection is well-stocked with dresses, slip dresses, and bodysuits of all sizes. While it's true that the brand's bankruptcy filing may not ever effect operations or customers, this collection is too cute to pass by.
