Justin Bieber Could Be Heading Back To The Movies

by Taylor Ferber

Justin Bieber may be taking his Instagram hiatus seriously, but that's not preventing him and his glorious abs from taking over the world. In fact, we might see Justin Bieber in a movie some time soon. No, seriously. And not just a concert movie either. The 22-year-old is still on his Purpose World Tour, the one that started in March of last year. With five months on the road left to go, Bieber has yet to perform in countries including Switzerland, Italy, Spain, and Australia, before he closes in Costa Rica in April 2017. I'm exhausted for him. But apparently, he's not even a little bit tired, just ready for more. During a random Q&A session with fans during his show in Hamburg, Germany Monday night, the singer promised fans he's headed to even more things. Like the big screen, perhaps.

A fan asked if he'll be doing a Purpose documentary, and he gave the hope everyone in that arena and around the world needed. “I don’t know yet. We haven’t really discussed it yet," said Bieber. "But I still have another year to talk about it because I’m on tour for a while. I’m doing stadiums in North America, which is going to be pretty awesome." Whether there will be a Purpose movie or not, the Biebs is confident he'll make fans swoon on the big screen soon. “Hopefully we do a Purpose Tour movie," he said. "If not, I’ll be doing other movies, which will be pretty cool.”

Wait, what?

What does Biebs have up his sleeve that fans don't know about? Maybe he got as big of a thrill performing his short Zoolander 2 cameo as fans did watching it. Maybe the Hollywood bug has bit him, and I'm not mad at it. In addition to Zoolander 2 which premiered in February of 2016, Bieber supposedly took on a voice acting job for Killing Hasselhoff , according to IMDb. The under-the-radar comedy (which hasn't been released) reportedly includes actors Ken Jeong, David Hasselhoff, and Jon Lovitz. Plus, there are those Pitch Perfect 3 rumors...

Earlier this year, reports that Bieber was on board to join the movie spread after he and Rebel Wilson reportedly hit it off. Nothing has been confirmed, but there's hope. And who knows? Maybe by "doing other movies," he means behind the scenes. He did co-produce 2011's Never Say Never when he was only 16, as well as 2013's Believe at 18. Or maybe he'll take his talents to the director's seat? And, if he does decide to move forward with a Purpose movie, you can bet it'll showcase a much more mature (and dare I say sexy) side of the singer. So, either way, I'm excited.

We're ready for what you got, Biebs.
