Rihanna Did A Velvet Version Of Her Puma Creepers

OMG, you guys! I already thought the Rihanna Puma Fenty Creepers were perfect, thanks to the thick and ridged platform sole, suede texture, and generally cool AF look. The Creepers did, after all, win the Shoe of the Year Award. Now, the Rihanna Puma Fenty Creeper is being offered in velvet fabric. Rihanna and Puma really figured out a way to upgrade this popular kick with a lush, rich quality that instantly elevates these sneakers to "super dressy." And here I thought the thick sole was the only way these shoes had "lift!" Now, their whole vibe has been stepped up, due to the velvet texture. You can wear the velvet Creepers with black leggings and an oversized knit top and it's an instant dose of glam.

You can buy Rihanna Puma Fenty Creepers at Puma.com

So, when can you buy the velvet Rihanna Puma Fenty Creepers? The velvet Rihanna Puma Creepers, which come in three colors, go on sale on Thursday, Dec. 8, per Puma's socials. While the brand did not reveal the exact on-sale time, you can expect a 10 a.m. ET launch, since that's the time that all prior Creeper drops have taken place.

You can purchase them at the Puma site, Puma stores, and official Puma retailers.

The price of the new velvet Puma Creepers is TBD, as well. Bustle reached out to Puma reps for further details.

UPDATE: Bustle received further info from Puma PR. The velvet Creepers were handcrafted in Italy and come in Black, Burgundy and, Cement, for both men and women. The shoes retail for $150.

You have three choices. There is the all-black, the charcoal x grey, and the red, which is more of a cranberry shade to my eyes. They are all gorge.

Keepin' it classy with the all-black version. Mark your calendars for Dec. 8 because it's going to be a big day, sneaker pimps.

It's worth remembering that Puma Creepers sell out every time there is a new drop. I would expect the same for this drop, since it's a new texture. Any "new" element creates more shopping mania, heightened desire, and generally more of a frenzy. Who doesn't want the latest and greatest?

I have to go program reminders in my iPhone re: this drop. OK, bye.
