Surprise! Kylie Jenner's Dogs Are Now Parents

by Michelle McGahan

If you were wondering why Kylie Jenner wasn't at the 2016 American Music Awards on Sunday night, girlfriend had a pretty good excuse: Jenner's dog Bambi gave birth to puppies, and she spent the night taking care of the dogs, Snapchatting the brand-new puppies, and answering fans' questions about the pups (no need to call Maury: Norman's the father!)

"For those asking.. I was planning on going to AMA this year but Bambi went into labor," Jenner tweeted on Sunday night. "so I'm here taking care of puppies."

And indeed she was, sharing so-cute-you'll-keel-over videos on her Snap story of the little ones nursing and just being adorable lying on a blanket. It is truly that scene in 101 Dalmatians come to life, only the pups are Italian greyhounds instead of dalmatians.

In between caring for the new babies, Jenner spent time on Twitter answering fans' queries about the puppies, like if she even knew Bambi was pregnant and how the whole thing happened in the first place (Jenner dubbed Bambi and Norman ~mating~ a "one-time thing"). I mean, there were no "Where do babies come from?" questions, but the Lip Kit guru may have answered them if they existed.

TBH, it is a little strange that Norman and Bambi, uh, "got together," considering they are technically adopted siblings. Obviously, the weirdness comes from us humans anthropomorphizing them, but still: It's a little unexpected. It was surprising on Jenner's end, too, who affectionately captioned one of her Snapchat photos of the pups "the best accidents to ever happen."

Jenner knew that fans would be curious about the newest additions to her ever-growing family of dogs, so she tweeted answers to the following:

Still, there was one question on everyone's minds that Jenner did not respond to: Why didn't she get the dogs fixed? Spaying and neutering your pets is pretty common, after all — and it seems like it would be a no-brainer so her dogs aren't going at it when they're in heat. As to whether Jenner will actually address the backlash on that point remains to be seen... but given how open she's been on Twitter and Snapchat so far, maybe she'll respond to the questions soon enough.

In the meantime, the two new puppies are here, and Jenner is keeping them. Long live the many, many Snapchats of these adorable babies.
