by Kaitlyn Wylde

If you're wanting to take advantage of the Black Friday sales, you're going to have set an alarm — when you should wake up for Black Friday depends on where you want to shop. There's really no way around it, I'm afraid. And really, you'll want to set two or three alarms, because once you fall asleep with that belly full of Thanksgiving goodness, you're going to need the sound of a tornado warning to get you out of bed.

But first, before you even go to bed on Thanksgiving night, you'll need a game plan. Black Friday is nothing to mess around with. You've got to take it seriously and give it your all. You can't just stroll into a store and let the sales inspire you. You'll need a plan of attack. You'll need a list of store openings and a priorities list of items that you're after.

What's most important to you? What's got the biggest price cut? Which store is going to have the longest lines? These are the things you'll ned to consider before going to bed Thanksgiving night. You'll want to wake up, ready for action and with a clear plan. Because let's be real, you're going to wake up in a turkey and wine fog and that game plan will become your life line.
