'GG' Fans Have A Lot Of Feels About The Ending

After years of waiting, longtime fans of Gilmore Girls finally know the last four words of the series, and they have a whole lot of feelings. What many imagined would be a conclusive end to the series turned out to be more of a cliffhanger. If you have yet to watch all four seasons of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, then go grab some Pop Tarts and head to Netflix, everyone else stay here to check out the best fan reactions to the Gilmore Girls final four words.

OK, guys, last warning, it is major spoiler time: at the end of the series, Rory told Lorelai she was pregnant and it is safe to say the bombshell ending left the Internet properly shook. For some fans, Rory's confession to Lorelai brought the series full circle with Rory now destined to follow in her mother's footsteps as a presumably single mom, while others need answers and they need answers now. The infamous four words even failed to include a verbal reaction from Lorelai, so fans were left with nothing to hold onto but her incredulous stare and a sudden cut to black. It's OK, Lorelai, I think everyone in the audience was left speechless too.

Now that the shock has worn off, the opinions have started rolling in and they run the gamut from the amusing to the distraught. Here is what Gilmore Girls fans are saying about Rory's big announcement closing out the revival.

These Fans Are Still In Shock

I think, "wait, what?" was everyone's first reaction.

A totally accurate representation of what the inside of most fans' brains looks like right now.

Need more Gilmore Girls now, please.

Someone needs a Lorelai hug.

There is just no way to prepare for a bombshell of this magnitude.

A Well-Timed Emily Gilmore Gif Is The Best Way To Express Frustration

This is the opposite of closure, ASP.

More would be nice. Can someone add a fifth season to the calendar?

For Other Fans, The Disappointment Is Too Real

If pushing the revival into a lake will make you feel better, I say go for it.

There are some things even tacos cannot fix.

Can't Rory just be a novelist?

The line for the Final Four Words Support Group starts here.

While Some Fans Just Went Straight To Denial

What final four words? Lorelai and Luke got married, Jess stared longingly at Rory, and Rory is writing a book. End scene.

Confusion Is A Totally Legitimate Feeling...

It's like Schrodinger's cat, but with emotions instead.

What just happened?

And So Is Satisfaction

It's OK to envy this person's zen.

Seeing Lorelai and Rory come full circle was a tearjerker no matter how you felt about Rory's big reveal.

It is going to take some time to process the ending, but if it helps, remember everyone was just Gilmored right along with you.
