There Has To Be A Kardashian Holiday Card In 2016

Besides the pretty red cups at Starbucks, my favorite holiday tradition is the annual Kardashian family Christmas card. Every year, I think they couldn't possibly top the one from the year before, but they always do. But this year, for the first time, I'm starting to doubt that the card will happen — mainly because the family has been through so much this year, and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly taking December off from public life. So what's the deal? Will there be a Kardashian Christmas card for 2016? Bustle has reached out to the Kardashians' rep but has not yet heard back.

But even though nothing has been confirmed yet, there's no reason to believe that the tradition won't continue. Of course, the Kardashians have struggled with some tough stuff over the past few months, like West's hospitalization and Kim's robbery, but they're still a family and it's still the holiday season. Why stop doing something they've done every year now? Don't tell me Kris Jenner has run out of theming ideas. That's simply not possible.

And I think I speak for the entire planet when I say 2016 has been rough for all of us. Couldn't the universe use something as beautiful as this to lift our spirits?

And a card this year is kind of necessary, because it would include two new and very important family members for the first time: Blac Chyna and her brand new daughter with Rob, Dream Kardashian. Every year, the group pictured in the photo just keeps getting bigger and bigger, which means more and more coordinating outfits need to be purchased. I need to see Dream in a tiny Santa hat, sitting beside North and Saint. It has to happen.

Besides, it may almost be Christmas, but there's still plenty of time for the card to happen. The 2015 Kardashian Christmas card didn't hit the internet until December 23, so that gives us a little over two weeks before it's safe to start worrying. And even though that one only featured the children of the family, I have high hopes that this year's will involve everyone. Kourtney and Scott Disick are back together, guys. I need visual, holiday-themed proof!
