The Most Bizarre Beauty Products From 2016

by Madison Alcedo

If you're a beauty guru and religiously follow makeup trends throughout the year, you know that 2016 was one of the biggest years yet for beauty product launches, including some of the most bizarre beauty products of 2016. (Yes, beauty was just as weird as everything else that hapepned over the last year, folks.) Even though some beauty brands basically ruled over the beauty world with their new launches — like Kylie Cosmetics' multiple lip kits and palettes and Glossier's serums and highlighters — there have been some crazier beauty products and tools that have also left quite a mark on 2016.

While some of these products will definitely make you stop and scratch your head, many of them are weird in the most wonderful way. Who knows, you just might find a new favorite product! From crazy rainbow highlighters that went viral on social media to dead foot skin removal kits (ew), these products may sound totally crazy, but are actually pretty effective and innovative. Don't be turned off by the way they look or what they're called — you can't judge a book by its cover, after all.

If you're in need of gift ideas, consider any of the below items — they're sure to please any beauty guru in your life.
