Kim Probably Filmed Her 'Love' Video Awhile Ago

by Nicole Pomarico

I know she has to do what's best for her, but it's been a long, lonely two months without Kim Kardashian living in the public eye. Since her Paris robbery in October, the normally very active Instagram queen has taken a break from all social media entirely, and I'm starting to really miss seeing her posts on my feed. And if you feel the same way, you're in luck, because she's back — kind of. On Monday, Kardashian's video for Love magazine's advent calendar debuted, and I can't help but wonder if this means that she'll be making her return to the spotlight sooner rather than later. Is this her way of telling us she's back officially? When was Kardashian's Love video filmed? Unfortunately, so far there's no definitive answer to that question, and Bustle has reached out to Kardashian's rep and Love but did not receive a response at the time of publication.

But in all likelihood, this video probably isn't a sign that she's about to make her comeback. Obviously, the video — which is Day 12 of Love's advent calendar and was directed by James Lima — would have needed time for editing, too, so it's probably safe to say that it was filmed before her robbery and husband Kanye West's hospitalization. Besides, according to People, Love usually shoots the video for its advent calendar in late summer and early fall, which would have put the production on this one long before Kardashian went to France. It's a bummer, but it's good to see that Kardashian is probably continuing to take her well deserved time off.

It's not surprising that Kardashian has stayed quiet instead of promoting the vid, since that's the way she's been living her life the past couple of months. Since reports have surfaced that she and West are laying low for the rest of the year, we probably won't hear anything from them until after 2017, and I can't blame them. They've been through a lot in a very short period of time, and if I could hide in my house until the new year, I totally would.

Even if it doesn't mean Kardashian's back, it was good to see her in a new project anyway — and hopefully, there's plenty more to come. Her wellbeing obviously comes first, but I can't wait until she feels comfortable enough to start sharing selfies and adorable photos of North and Saint online again. I miss her!
