Actress Uses N-Word to Describe "Fat" Oprah Winfrey

by Alicia Lutes

If you didn't know who Rae Dawn Chong is before (and really, why would you?), you probably will soon enough, thanks to the truly childish, immature, and downright awful things she said about Our Lady of Everything, Oprah Winfrey. And if you're into hearing hateful garbage, TMZ has the (NSFW) recording of the June 27 Matty P's Radio Happy Hour interview.

Honestly, this is the biggest bunch of backhanded bullshittery I've ever heard, but, of course, Chong tries to phrase it as if she's on that compliment tip. Because while Oprah is "really great" and worth your "respect," it's only because she brown-nosed her fat ass to the top by being "insecure" and "vile." Whoa, girl. Whoa.

Here's what Rae Dawn Chong really thinks about Oprah:

On Oprah's Looks:

"I think she's like a 4."

On Oprah's Abilities:

"The thing that's really great about Oprah that you can't take away from her is that she's a great brown-noser."

On Oprah's Geniality:

"She will pick the most powerful person in the room and become best friends with them."

On Oprah's Personality:

"She was that fat chick, that wannabe cheerleader in school, that was the student council president that was the best friends with the principal."

On Oprah's Insecurities:

"...The volunteer nurse that was the fat chick in school that did everything at school and everybody loved her. Love me, love me, love me."

On The "Good" Things About Oprah:

"You gotta respect her no matter how vile she is — 'cuz ultimately she's all about Oprah and that's boring — but aside from that, you gotta kinda go, 'Hello, hats off, you have done an amazing thing. You have actually shifted the DNA of the universe.' In terms of thinking and power structure."

On Oprah's Place in Society:

"She took a woman —if you look at the way she looks — 60 years ago she would have been a housekeeper, luckily. She would not have been a house [n-word], she would've been a field [n-word]. ...[Inaudible]... So the fact that Oprah Winfrey has had so much success, but seriously ... So we have to give her props."

On Having No Personal Disrespect for Oprah, Though:

"Like no matter what my personal vibe is with her, I have to stop and say this woman is a miracle, and I respect her and I say 'kudos to you' and I don't give two cents about the other parts of it because she shifted the DNA in terms of our thinking aof a woman of a certain size and a certain shade. I love her for that, I don't care what she's about, I don't care that I know her ins and outs, I just think that she's done a lot. So I love her for that because we are in the struggle because — HELLO! — we are still struggling."

I pretty much feel as though I can present this without comment. Just a word to the wise, though, Chong: all of this says — HELLO! — way more about you than it does about Oprah. And trust us, it says a lot.
