This Gymnast's Routine Is Freaking Amazing

Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, and all the other members of the Fierce Five better watch out — Louisiana State University gymnast Lloimincia Hall and her amazing floor routine are giving them a run for their money. According to her profile on LSUsports.net, Hall is one of only six gymnasts in LSU history to record two or more perfect 10s; she entered her junior season with two… and on January 31, she rocked her routine so hard that she netted herself the third perfect 10 of her career.

This particular routine may be a couple of months old, but there’s a reason it’s trending right now — and that’s the fact that it’s truly astonishing, both in technique and performance quality. The crowd was totally into it, too, which tends to be pretty rare at gymnastics competitions.

The LSU women’s gymnastic team just claimed their 13th regional title this past weekend; they’ll next be seen at the NCAA championships for the 25th time in history on April 18 in Birmingham, Alabama. Currently seeded number three, they’ll advance to the Super Six on April 19 if they make the top three teams. Said LSU head coach D-D Breaux after Hall and the team clinched the regional title, “The regional meet is always one of the most intense and competitive events every year, and I am so pleased with how we competed and performed tonight. The crowd was into the meet from the start to the finish, and it made for a really fun and exciting atmosphere in the arena.”

Here, take a look and be amazed:

And that, my friends, is how you stick a landing — with style. I believe the word "powerhouse" applies, too.
