Remember These Familiar '13 Going on 30' Faces?
It's hard to believe it's been a decade since 13 Going on 30, our favorite coming of age chick flick, hit theatres. Starring a bright-eyed Jennifer Garner as the magazine writer who grew up too fast, the film offered a bevy of classic girly tropes: Dance sequences, slumber parties, gratuitous glitter on glitter — the usual. But outside of these fun but frivilous sequences, the film also delivered some important lessons: Be yourself, value your friends, and of course, love is a battlefield. But while the movie showcased heavy hitters Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo, there are several familiar faces you might not remember from 10 years ago. Here, see seven 13 Going on 30 actors you might not have known are in the film.
1. Christa B. Allen
You know her as little sister Charlotte Grayson on Revenge, but in 13 Going on 30, Allen played young Jenna, the one that stuffed her bra and wore scrunchies. Several years after 13 Going on 30, Allen starred in another Jennifer Garner flick, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. (A film that received much less acclaim, and featured a pre-Oscar winning Matthew McConaughey in his alternate life as romantic comedy male lead.)
2. Judy Greer
Aka that lady from the Tropicana commercials.
3. Andy Serkis
Playing Garner's boss at the magazine, you might remember the actor more fondly in his role as Gollum in The Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit series.
4. Ashley Benson
Once a pretty little liar, always a Pretty Little Liar.
5. Brie Larson
Far right — Mind. Blown.
6. Jim Gaffigan
Aka the super-hot-jock-dude who after high school, was finally realized as the true loser he was all along.
7. Phil Reeves
You know, the white-haired guy from Parks and Rec and Veep. Yep, him.
