What Else Has Tatiana Maslany Been In?

by Casey Rackham

If you're a fan of BBC's latest hit, then you probably know Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany as the extremely talented Golden Globe-nominated actress who portrays eight different clones: Sarah, Alison, Cosima, Rachel, Beth, Katja, Helena, and come Season 2, Jennifer Fitzsimmons. Although (major spoiler) some of them are dead — R.I.P. Beth, Katja, and maybe Helena — it's still a ridiculous feat for an actress to balance more than one role at a time (you go, Lindsay Lohan), and basically play almost every leading character in a TV series. (It definitely leaves you wondering if she's paid per character because she totally should be.)

So since Maslany has the ability to take on eight personalities at once, you must at one point have thought to yourself, "What else has she been in? Where have I seen her before?" Well, unless you watch a lot of Canadian TV series and films — and no, we're not talking about Degrassi or Are You Afraid of the Dark? — there's a pretty good chance that you've only seen her in a handful of things. But that's not to say that she's not completely amazing in everything she's been in, since, you know, she's a rockstar. Take a look at where you might have seen Maslany before:

1. The Vow

Cue: "Oh, that's where I've seen her!" Maslany totally played Lily, Leo's (Channing Tatum) partner at the recording studio.

2. Parks and Recreation

That's right, the folks over at NBC's Parks and Recreation snatched up Maslany for a two-episode arc so she could play Nadia, one of Tom's love interests.

3. Cas & Dylan

The 2013 indie, directed by Jason Priestley, features Maslany as a 22-year-old woman who goes on road trip with a dying old man (played by Richard Dreyfuss). Needless to say, heartwarming and comedic shenanigans ensue.

4. On the arm of Tom Cullen

If you don't recognize Cullen's name, a little Downton Abbey might jog your memory. That's right, the actor plays Lord Gillingham, one of Lady Mary's many suitors. Lucky for him, he gets to play Maslany's real life boyfriend, too.
