Beckham Shows Off Her Motherly Side

Having just celebrated a kind of big birthday (happy belated 40th, VB), Victoria Beckham has been in the spotlight quite a bit recently. Beckham appears to be continuing to make an even bigger name for herself (as well as contributing to a worthy cause) now with her newest collaboration with Born Free Africa, a charity that aims to end mother-to-child transmission of HIV by 2015.

The collaboration, which Beckham announced via Twitter on Thursday, entails Beckham designing matching mother and daughter dresses that will be available to purchase on Shopbop. Beckham's designs — two patterned dresses — were modeled by Sasha Pivovarova and her daughter Mia in the newly released photos, which Beckham tweeted along with the announcement of the collaboration.

Beckham is only one of 23 other designers (all mothers) who have created matching dresses to support the efforts of Born Free Africa. Other big names include Alberta Ferretti, Alexander McQueen, Carolina Herrera, Celine, Chloe, DKNY, Diane von Furstenberg, Isabel Marant, J Crew, Marchesa, Marni, Prada, Rachel Roy, Stella McCartney, Tori Burch, Vera Wang and Versace. Seems like they've pretty much covered everyone, yes?

Other notables involved in the campaign include models Gisele Bundchen, Karolina Kurkova (seen in campaign photos below with her son), and Doutzen Kroes, who have all been photographed for the collection.

Although prices for the Beckham designs have not yet been released, the collection will be revealed in its entirety (and available to purchase) by April 23.
