Next week, you'll see Lea Michele on the cover of Marie Claire Mexico's August issue. The photo shoot for the issue took place in June, a few weeks before Michele's boyfriend and Glee co-star Cory Monteith died on July 13, and the Editor-in-Chief, Ariadne Grant, shared the heartbreaking story of the shoot. Grant discusses the actress's positive attitude during her interview, and how happy she and Monteith seemed when he arrived toward the end of the day.
Cory showed up in great spirits and was very nice to everybody there; he even took pictures with whoever asked for it. He just asked for a Coke and stayed there watching the shooting until it was done. They were both very nice and obviously happy and in love.
During the interview, Michele discussed both her professional and personal relationship with Monteith, and it's so sad to see her words now.
... He is the best person I know, he has made my life so incredible and I am so thankful for him and not only to have him as a partner but also as a coworker ... It is important to have someone that supports you and encourage you, someone that makes you feel that you are unstoppable, that you can do anything in the world because you have him.
We can only imagine what Michele is going through right now, and wish her the best during this painful time.
