Eyes, Behold: Karlie Kloss x Warby Parky

How bright is Karlie Kloss's future? So bright, the 21-year-old model decided to design some sunglasses to shield her eyes from the glaring success that is her life. In the latest issue of Vogue, it was announced that the Victoria's Secret angel has teamed up with popular eyewear brand Warby Parker to create a summer collection of glasses.

According to Fashionista, the capsule collection will include three metal frames, each of which will have ombre-tinted lenses, a 70s-inspired flair, and a $145 price tag.

Kloss's move into the eyewear world was totally organic, according to Warby Parker. It all started when Kloss attended a charity basketball tournament hosted by the eyewear brand and met the founders. Co-founder Neil Blumenthal said this about the collaboration: "[It was] just one of those things where everyone hits it off."

Kloss is just as thrilled about her new partnership, posting this message to her Facebook fans: "Very excited to be collaborating with Warby Parker on a special collection to benefit Edible Schoolyard NYC featured here in Vogue Magazine this month! More details to come in June, stay tuned....#karliexwarby."

This isn't Kloss' first time designing. Last year, the model teamed up with denim brand Frame to create two styles of jeans for long-legged ladies like herself. Additionally, this is also not her first foray into charitable collaborations. Kloss created a "fashionably wholesome" cookie with Momofuku and a portion of its proceeds go towards helping provide nutritious meals to those in need.

The Karlie x Warby collection won't be released until June 10, but that hasn't stopped Kloss from giving them a trial run. She was spotted wearing them during a recent outing with bestie Taylor Swift, who we're sure Kloss has already given a pair to. Oh, the perks of having famous, model-designer best friends!
