Is She Qualified to Judge 'Fashion Police'?

Everyone's favorite blonde vampire will take a break from the CW Friday night to serve as a guest judge on E!’s Fashion Police. On the show, Vampire Diaries ’ Candice Accola will dish on the latest fashions donned by celebrities alongside fellow guest judge Martha Stewart and guest host Eva Marcille (America’s Next Top Model). But is she qualified?

In recent months, Accola been seen at Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week in New York City and the Claire Pettibone Bridal Runway show to prepare for her upcoming nuptials to Fray guitarist Joe King. We did a little digging to find some more about Accola’s fashion cred, but if you want to know if she’s bringing her fangs to the party, you’ll have to watch the show.

She’s Always Dressed For the Occasion

You don’t have to look any further than Candice’s Instagram and WhoSay accounts to find out that she’s not only into fashion, but knows how to avoid falling victim to it. That’s not an easy task for a jetsetter. Many a celebrity has fallen victim to the Uggs-in-summer syndrome that has been sweeping the continent for decades now. Don’t be surprised to see her wearing a perfect pair of jeans or a great shirt more than once though. Last year, Accola described her personal style to WhoWhatWear.com, saying:

I don't think I ever grew out of playing dress up. I love dresses and dramatic vintage jackets. I also refuse to live by the rule that something can only be worn once. I've recently found happiness in my Charlotte Olympia black velvet kitty shoes and a pair of red J Brand jeans.

She’s a Faithful Fashion Blog Reader

In a past interview with Examiner, Accola revealed that she reads all of the popular fashion blogs to stay current on trends and is a fan of both searching for a bargain and vintage items. She said,

There’s so many great designers. I’m a little bit of a vintage junkie when it comes to going out. I like to get unique pieces that you won’t see everyone wearing, but at the same time I don’t like to break the bank. I like to find great vintage pieces that you can hold on to for a long time.

Her Good Taste Isn’t Limited to Clothes
