Kristen Wiig Is Missing (Sort Of)
Where the actual heck has Kristen Wiig been since her stint as Harry Styles on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon? Acting in anything and everything she can get her tiny Lawrence Welk hands on, that's where.
Even though it's been almost two years since Wiig's last episode of Saturday Night Live as a cast member, we're still getting used to the Studio 8H alum's weekly absence from our TVs. We're just glad that she's been using all of her newfound time to star in as many films and TV shows as she can.
Since she left SNL, Wiig has taken roles in movies such as Despicable Me 2, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Her, and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. As for TV, she guest-starred in Drunk History as Patty Hearst and Arrested Development as the younger (but still just as quick-witted) Lucille Bluth, and, of course, she more recently starred as Cynthia Morehouse in IFC's hilarious soap miniseries, The Spoils of Babylon . But the best part is that she has so much more screentime in store for us.

1. Hateship, Loveship
The film, which was released this past April, follows a nanny, Johanna (Wiig), who is hired to care for a teenage girl, Sabitha (Hailee Steinfeld). Johanna eventually falls in love with Sabitha's absent father (Guy Pearce) via letters and emails, but, little does she know, the letters are actually being written by Sabitha and her friend as a prank. Although the reviews have been a little bit shaky, Wiig has been applauded for her performance, which is quite different from her usual laugh-out-loud roles.
2. Welcome to Me
Wiig is set to star in Welcome to Me, Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's indie comedy, as Alice Klieg, a woman with a personality disorder who wins the lottery and buys her own cable access talk show. Yeah, this has the potential to be amazing, especially since Wiig is the leading lady.
3. How to Train Your Dragon 2
The actress will reprise her role as Ruffnut, the flirtatious Viking twin of Tuffnut, in the Dragon sequel.
4. Nasty Baby
The Sebastian Silva film follows a gay couple, Freddy (Silva) and Mo (Tunde Adebimpe), who attempt to have a baby with with the help of their best friend, Polly (Wiig).
And if you're ready to look ahead to 2015, Wiig is set to star alongside James Franco, Jonah Hill, and Seth Rogen in Sausage Party, an animated movie about a sausage's quest to discover the truth about his existence. Yup, we're excited too.
