Miley's Not Even Mad At Liam, You Guys

by Kaitlin Reilly

She isn't even mad, you guys! Despite the epic breakup rant that Miley Cyrus gave the audience at London's G.U.Y. club, Miley insists that it had absolutely nothing to do with her most recent ex, Liam Hemsworth. For those of you who missed it, the pop star/controversy magnet laid into one of her exes at the show, telling her riled-up audience that success is the sweetest revenge:

Every time you get in your car, you're going to hear my fucking song on the fucking radio you piece of shit... That's right. Then I'm gonna hold the record for the most-watched music video on Vevo. So I'm gonna tell those motherfuckers that broke my heart, particularly one, to suck my fat dick... and to enjoy hearing this song for the rest of your life... That song is "Wrecking Ball."

It's no surprise that Miley hinted that "Wrecking Ball" was about her ex-fiance Liam — considering the timing, it does seem likely that her choice of song was reflective of her current love life. And who would blame her? While there are two sides to every story, Liam did allegedly cheat on her with the actress January Jones during their engagement, and allegedly began seeing a model only days after they called it off. So it's not like Miley doesn't have the right to be pissed off at her ex. In fact, if I had the platform, I'd probably do the same thing. It's totally immature, of course, but not everyone can take a breakup as well as Gwyneth Paltrow.

But now Miley's taking to Twitter to backtrack a bit, and it's actually pretty classy of her. While I'm all for her theory that revenge is sweetest when you're making yourself more awesome, it is nice that she isn't trying to hurt Liam's feelings by the comments.

She then followed it up with this:

Personally, I do think that Miley was talking about Liam at her concert, but I'm glad that she chose to rethink her comments and publicly apologize for her "hateful" sounding words. It's certainly a mature step, even if we all secretly wish that we could call out an ex in an equally badass way.
