The Best Looks From The 2014 Cannes Film Festival

As much as we’d all like to secretly hate Blake Lively (I mean, her husband…), she looks pretty flawless in this Gucci gown, complete with braided up do and fierce heels.

Zoe Saldana is gorgeous no matter what, but…something about this whole ensemble doesn’t seem very…Cannes. Is that a bow on her chest? A flower? I don’t understand.

The pattern of this dress is, yes, a little intense. However, the length of the dress paired with those pointy-toe heels? Lovely.

I’m not really sure how something can be Valentino, yet also look like a costume from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Something about this whole look is so, so perfect. It’s an artsy, more modern dress, but the hair, makeup, and shoes come together so perfectly that it’s hard not to love it all.

Rocking a Louis Vuitton little black (embellished) dress at Cannes? Does it get more chic than that?

No, until now, I didn’t have any idea who Adele Exarchopoulos was. And no, I still cannot pronounce her last name, but the girl certainly knows a thing or two about how to work a red carpet messy braid. And if that’s not skill, I don’t know what is.

Is there anything I do not obsessively love in this ensemble? Nope, not a thing.

Does this Elie Saab dress look familiar to you at all? Thought so. And while I can’t say I prefer the dress in red, Jane Fonda looks pretty amazing regardless.

While this certainly does look very “fashion-y,” I can’t say I love it. I’m not sure if I like it, but I can’t really look away. Much like the Kardashian reality show that Kendall is, you know, a little familiar with.

This look is visually interesting and bold while still remaining feminine and just plain pretty. Easier said than done, and Zhang Ziyi pulls it off.

Does Nicole Kidman ever look bad? Or age? No, I didn’t think so either.

Those shoes, though. Those. Shoes.

If the Little Mermaid was super chic and at Cannes, I think this is what she would wear.

Revealing, yet classy is a hard look to pull off, but this look is sexy in all the right ways. You go, Gong.

Julianne Moore is ageless, and so is this Louis Vuitton look. Yes, I do happen to think that red leather is classic.

With everyone saying Blake was the fashion star from day one of Cannes, it’s safe to say the Mrs. Ryan Reynolds is the front runner for day two as well. This look is flawlessly chic

I was really hoping I’d like Zoe’s second day look a lot better than the first, but all I can really say about this is, “well, I guess it could be worse.”

It’s hard not to be a fan of dresses that look like they could double as an art piece.

Trend of Cannes 2014 day two: carry some sort of extra piece of fabric. Because, you know, it’s France.

Engaged to Johnny Depp, gorgeous in a designer gown, cool hair. Yes, Amber Heard, we are all very, very jealous.

Elie Saab has had a whole lot of fashion moments on the red carpet so far in Cannes, but Kapoor may make the biggest statement (literally) with this black Saab number. Paired with the hair and makeup, it's perfection.

All I have to say about this is: BOOM. Flawless.

Swank has wowed on the carpet often, but I don't think this is one of those times. Beautiful, but blah.

A very chic bridesmaids dress? We all know that Suki killed it at the Met Gala, so it's no wonder that this look falls a little short in comparison.
