Seth MacFarlane Is Making A Christmas Album

by Casey Rackham

It might only be May, but thanks to news of Seth MacFarlane's in-the-works holiday album, we can start the celebrations a little early. After performing a rousing (and controversial) opening song at the 2013 Oscars, being nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song for co-writing “Everybody Needs a Best Friend” from his movie, Ted, and releasing his 2011 record, Music Is Better Than Words, it only makes sense that the comedian would eventually make a Christmas album. Because if David Hasselhoff and Roseanne Barr can each have their own holiday album, then why can't MacFarlane?

However, what's most surprising about the writer/singer/actor/producer/director's Santa tunes (besides the fact that he's actually making a CD in the first place) is that it sounds like it's going to be a pretty traditional take on Christmas music. The album is set to feature a 52-piece orchestra, which was recorded in London's Abbey Road Studios, and both Norah Jones and Sara Bareilles will duet with the funnyman. In fact, Bareilles will be singing "Baby It's Cold Outside" with him. Take that as you will.

Well, just in case MacFarlane decides to scrap the whole classic Christmas route, we've come up with a few song titles that are right up the Family Guy's alley:

1. "All I Want For Christmas Is Boobs"

2. "Jingle Boobs Rock"

3. "Little St. Boob"

4. "O Boobie Night"

5. "Have Yourself A Boobie Little Christmas"

6. "The Little Boobie Boy"

7. "Boob Christmas"

8. "Rudolph, the Red-Boobed Reindeer"

9. "Winter Boobieland"

10. The 12 Boobs of Christmas"

11. "Boobie Time Is Here"

12. "Carol of the Boobs"

(I'm sorry, everyone.)
