Oh, Kim Kardashian. Your bachelorette party looked like everything I could have hoped for. A gaggle of gorgeous girls smiling (but not eating) together around a long table, then running arm and arm through the streets of Paris, perfect waves blowing in the French wind with the Louvre and Eiffel Tower as your selfie backdrops. Sigh.
And that dress. Wow, what a bachelorette dress. Short enough for that signature Kardashian sex appeal, but with long sleeves and a high neck that say, "I'm a proper married woman now." Made by Olivier Rousteing, Creative Director for Balmain, it's covered in quilting, pearls, and painting-like embroidery that keeps it on the right side of over-the-top and just plain glamorous.
So, does this solidify the rumors that Rousteing was the one who got to design Kardashian's dress for her wedding to Kanye West? Or just mean that all those meetings were just for the bachelorette party gown, and she'll be wearing Vera Wang when she walks down the aisle after all? I'm still rooting for Kardashian to shock us all by rocking a simple dress from H&M, honestly. Ugh, the suspense is killing me slowly. The Kimye wedding is (allegedly) taking place Saturday, but with no word on a time and no cell phones allowed inside, we just might never know who she wears.
