Rottweiler puppies are awesome. Kangaroos are awesome, too. But you know what’s even more awesome? Rottweiler puppies and kangaroos playing together like best friends. All together, now: Awwwwwwwwwww!
Ed Trindall, a resident of Perth, Australia, recently uploaded the video below to his Facebook page — and unlike engagement videos, I have absolutely no problem with videos of adorable animals going viral, because OMG IT’S SO CUTE I CAN BARELY STAND IT. The Rottweiler’s name is Trooper, while the kangaroo goes by the moniker Blue the Roo; put ‘em both together, and, well… you’ve got something special.
Here’s what I imagine the kangaroo is thinking throughout the whole thing, broken down by time stamp:
- 00:05 — “Can… Can I hug you? Please?”
- 00:11 — “Seriously, dude, I just want to hug you. Bros before hos, am I right?”
- 00:15 — “Wait! Where are you going? I thought we were friends!”
- 00:22 — “Oh. Okay. Getting’ a little friendly here. Down, boy. Down.”
- 00:36 — “DUDE. I HAVE THE BEST IDEA EVER. I’m going to put you in my pouch, and it’s going to be AWESOME.”
- 00:38 — “Hrrrrgh… let me… put you… in my pouch…”
- 00:46 — “Dude, what’d you run away for? It was totally going to work!”
- 00:49 — “Okay, fine. This game works, too. Haha, got your nose!”
- 00:55 — “Whoa. Watch the tail, bro. Watch the tail.”
- 1:04 — “Oh, so we’re doing a cage match now? Awesome! Come at me, brah!”

- 00:39 — “Dude, I don’t even think you have a pouch. Isn’t that something only lady-roos have?”
- 00:47 — “Dude! It was not going to work! You don’t have a pouch!”
