We've all had a dream starring a celebrity at one point or another. But it turns out that famous people also dream about one another. Like Amy Poehler, who admitted she has dreamt about Bette Midler. Speaking at Bette Midler's New York Restoration Project's 13th Annual Spring Picnic on Thursday, the Parks and Rec actress ended her comical speech by revealing the juicy dream details.
Bette turned to me in a dream and said, "Amy, you are the most talented person I've ever met. I hate to say this, this kills me, but you're more talented than me. God bless you and I release you to God," and then she turned into a million doves and flew away.
But Poehler isn't the only one to dream about a fellow star (although hers is perhaps one of the more uplifting scenarios). Here are 6 other famous people who dream about their fellow Hollywood friends.
JENNIFER LAWRENCE
Our favorite candid talker dished about an anesthesia dream she once had about America's favorite reality TV family. "I dreamed there was a nuclear bomb went off and then the first, like, lucid conversation I remember having was about the Kardashians," she said. "Then I put my hand on the anesthesiologist's chest and I said 'Would you just please promise me something? Will you promise me you'll watch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, please?'"
So, basically, an anesthetized J. Law is the same as regular J. Law.
ELLEN PAGE
Turns out Justin Bieber is Ellen Page's celebrity dream BFF. She told Conan O'Brien earlier this month about one dream in particular involving Canada, Bieber, and IKEA.
We were in his childhood home in Canada, just hanging out, and his mom came home with takeout from IKEA, and we were like, "Yeah!"
EVAN RACHEL WOOD
Wood, who is an open bisexual, tweeted last year about a particularly steamy dream she had about Kristen Stewart.
JENNA DEWAN-TATUM
While pregnant, the actress revealed on Twitter that she had a rather crazy Golden Globes dream.
IGGY AZALEA
The rising pop star said she has a lot of crazy dreams, like one involving a bunch of dolphins saving her from sharks. Once she got safely to shore she repaid them with a song. Guest star Tupac joined her in the dream but she "can't remember what Tupac was doing." Watch the clip at 3:10 below:
MADONNA
Angelina Jolie better watch out, because Madonna is having sex dreams about Brad Pitt. The singer confessed she once dreamt "Brad Pitt and I were living together and there was a small blonde child in the bed." Knowing how much Jolie praises her lover, he was probably pretty good in Madonna's dream.
When normal people dream about celebrities, it supposedly means that we're seeking "some characteristic that is associated with that celebrity," according to professionals. So maybe when these celebs dream about each other, it's because they secretly want to be just like them. And I mean, who doesn't want to be just like Justin Bieber, right Ellen Page?
