New 'Romeo and Juliet' Trailer Released

by Lindsay Mannering

So, there's this story about two star-crossed lovers from two households, both alike in dignity, who something something something, make civil hands unclean. William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet has been performed thousands of times, but director Carlo Carlei and script-adapter Julian Fellowes, of Downton Abbey fame, thinks there's room for more. Their version stars Hailee Steinfeld and Douglas Booth as the most famous teens in love; Stellan Skarsgard, Damian Lewis (Brody!), Paul Giamatti, and Ed Westwick (Chuck!) are also in the flick. The movie hits theaters October 11, but there's now a the new Romeo and Juliet trailer here for your viewing pleasure.

OR DISPLEASURE, as the case may be. If you grew up watching Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes in Baz Luhrmann's interpretation of the classic play, than this new version just seems like a waste of time. I mean, where's the cute little boy with chubby cheeks singing "When Doves Cry"? Where's the fish tank? WHERE'S CLAIRE'S UGLY CRY.

I don't know about this, you guys. I just don't know.
