This 'YOLO' Performance Is Better Than the Original

by Kaitlin Reilly

The SNL-sketch-turned-band called The Lonely Island performed "YOLO" on Fallon last night, and it was fantastic. Joining Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone (a.k.a. Booth Jonathan from Girls) and Akiva Schaffer in their rap about how important it is to take precautions while you're young (because you "only live once", after all) was none other than the host and first-time father Jimmy Fallon, along with in-house band, The Roots.

For those of you who haven't seen the original music video for "YOLO", you are certainly missing out. (It's probably the best answer to an entire generation who will now regret the mistakes they made in their youth ... like these YOLO tattoos). The original video's below. (Did we mention that Adam Levine and Kendrick Lamar are in it as well?).

And here's is the version that The Lonely Island performed on Fallon.

Remember, kids... You Oughta Look Out.
