Lo Continues a Trend Among 'Hills' Alumni

by Kenya Foy

Most of us remember Lo Bosworth as Lauren Conrad's trusty sidekick and as the levelheaded one amongst the angsty teens of Laguna Beach. She also provided a voice of reason and took on the role of bystander to much of the drama on The Hills. Since her reality TV days, she’s written a book and co-founded a company that shows hostesses how to entertain in style. In her continuing her successful streak, she can now add the title of chef to her resume. Monday, Bosworth graduated from New York's International Culinary Center and announced the news on Instagram.

While other Hills alum work on expanding their families and planning what is sure to be a fabulous wedding, it's quite refreshing to see that some of the cast members have taken an interest in a view from the other side of The Hills by choosing to further their education. Back in May, the show's resident bad boy and supreme instigator Spencer Pratt graduated from USC with a bachelor's degree. (The jury's still out on whether this means his annoying antics are permanently a thing of the past, but for now, we’ll take it.)

Meanwhile, check out Bosworth rocking her newly acquired chef hat. According to the caption, she also plans to put it to use outside of the kitchen:

To celebrate the occasion, she had dinner with a couple of old friends, including Lauren Conrad.

This is super exciting! Now we can look forward to Bosworth continuing to refine her skills in the kitchen so she can post more mouthwatering recipes on her lifestyle blog.

Congrats Lo!
