'Drunk History's Season 2 Guests Are Impressive

by Lia Beck

Hear ye, hear ye, Drunk History is coming back! (See what I did there with the historical sounding announcement?) Drunk History 's guest list for the second season has been released and it is extremely impressive. There are just so many amazing guest stars that will no doubt do an awesome job acting out a historical story and mouthing along to the words of an intoxicated narrator. If you haven't seen this show, I'm sure that sounds insane. Well, it is insane, but it's also hilarious. And educational!

So, who's showing up for season two of Drunk History? There's David Cross, Alia Shawkat, and Tony Hale from Arrested Development. Paul Scheer, Nick Kroll, and Jason Mantzoukas from The League. And Adrianne Palicki, Zach Gilford, and Jesse Plemons for all you Friday Night Lights fans out there.

Courteney Cox will play first lady Edith Wilson! Johnny Knoxville will play Johnny Cash! Jaleel White will play... someone! We don't know yet, but Steve Urkel on Drunk History is a very welcome thing.

Other guests will include, Charlie Day, Busy Phillips, Jordan Peele, Bobby Moynihan, Emily Deschanel, and John Lithgow among others. That's right, among others. This guest list is out of control.

As for the narrators, according to Entertainment Weekly, "Paget Brewster and Jen Kirkman are among the season 1 narrators slated to return, while new storytellers include Jonah Ray, Phil Hendrie, Duncan Tressell, Molly McAleer, and Morgan Murphy."

Are you excited? You should be as excited as if you drank wine and cocaine mixed together! That's what Coca-Cola is, ya know.

The new season of Drunk History premieres July 1 at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central.
