Dudes + Zooey Deschanel's Eyes = Can't Look Away
In the purest example of horrifyingly absurd Internet ideas, there's a new Tumblr and meme making the proverbial rounds: Guys With Zooeyes. It's a mash-up you have to see to believe — but once you do it might never leave your nightmares. And if you aren't singing an oddly unsettling rendition of "Jeepers Creepers" right now, you're clearly doing it wrong.
The concept? Simple: Zooey Deschanel — she of New Girl and 500 Days of Summer fame — has very large eyes and a penchant for that extreme cat-eye liner look. The execution? Unsettling. Them seein' globes of hers are extreme, y'all. Where'd you get those peepers, indeed!
The whole thing is wildly silly in the best way (Deschanel herself tweeted support of the whole thing already), not because of the make-up or because it's a girl, but because her eyes in all their largess look really, really funny on the faces of unsuspecting dudes. Though not officially correlated, the whole thing does sorta feel like the answer to Jon Lane's popular Tumblr from a few years ago, Chicks with Buscemeyes.
