She's Got Big News!

by Kadeen Griffiths

Move over, Kimye, your media reign is being placed on pause — if this story is true that is. US Weekly is reporting that Kourtney Kardashian is allegedly pregnant with her third child with longtime boyfriend Scott Disick. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been laying low since the infamous Kimye wedding in Europe, but all eyes are still on them in the hopes of getting more details than can be gleaned from blurry, distant fan photos and the official wedding portraits. Kourtney Kardashian has made no official announcement of her own, but now couldn't be a more perfect time.

According to a source, Kourtney's pregnancy was planned because she "wants to have a handful of kids". This new baby would be joining 4 year old Mason and 23 month old Penelope, as well as being born into the Kardashian dynasty, which is as close as you can get to being American royalty without being related to Beyoncé.

If Kourtney is actually pregnant, then this is a good time to start letting people know. Kim's wedding has come and gone and any further details about it are being saved for the next season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Kourtney wouldn't be taking any attention away from her sister's big day and she'd be giving us a preview of her own storyline for next season.

Of course, I'm not saying that the Kardashians specifically time big events in their lives for when it would be most advantageous to promote them, but even I can't deny that the timing is perfect. According to the article, Kourtney is a few months along at this point, so — like Mila Kunis and Rachel Bilson before her — she'll confirm or deny the story by starting to show soon enough, if she doesn't speak out one way or another before then. No matter what, it's Kourtney's time to shine with that new baby glow. Again.

The US Weekly article goes on to say that the new bundle of Kardashian joy is due some time in December. Further details about the pregnancy will be available in the next issue of US Weekly that hits the stands on Friday.
